Children can take control of realistic remote control diggers, enjoy hands-on fun and let their imaginations run wild as they dig, scoop and create their own mini construction adventures. It’s a safe, exciting experience made for families to enjoy together, with Costa Coffee available for grown-ups who want to relax while the little ones play.

Perfect for children and adults, an RC Excavator is a realistic remote-controlled construction vehicle designed to look, move and operate like a real digger. With responsive controls, moving arms and a working bucket, it gives users the chance to scoop, lift, dig and move materials in a fun, hands-on way.
Hydraulic Loading Shovel
An RC Hydraulic Loading Shovel brings the excitement of real construction machinery into a remote-controlled experience. Is Bobby Digger Land suitable for my child’s age?
Yes. Bobby Digger Land is suitable for children and adults who are able to use the easy-to-operate controller. The machines are designed to be fun, accessible and simple to control, making them a great activity for a wide range of ages.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, booking in advance is required as Bobby Digger Land is a cashless site.
You can book by phone or through our online booking form. When booking, you’ll be able to choose the machine or machines you’d like to use, select a suitable time slot, and hire your chosen machine in 30-minute sessions.
Are there refreshments available?
Yes, we have Costa Coffee, cold beverages, and snacks available.
We also have cold bottled beers and wine for you to enjoy (you must be participating and over 18 to drink alcohol).
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is a public carpark to the rear of “Riverside Medical Centre”, and a large retail park two minutes walking distance.
Do you have air conditioning for summer and heating for the winter?
Yes, we are fully air-conditioned for the summer, and there is heating for your comfort in the winter.
Can I bring my own food?
For regular booking slots, we kindly ask that you don’t bring your own food along. You’re welcome to bring your own food if you’ve booked private party hire with us.
